Kaitlyn Fox

Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Kaitlyn Fox stands at the intersection of indie-rock's visceral emotion and poetic lyricism. As an accomplished songwriter, Kaitlyn captures the art of musical storytelling, drawing inspiration from the likes of Gracie Abrams, Maggie Rogers, and Alanis Morissette.

Her musical journey began at the age of 12 when she first picked up a guitar. Shortly after, Kaitlyn penned her first song, “Blue Daisy,” and started performing at local cafes and festivals in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in English, Spanish, and Creative Writing, Kaitlyn's multidimensional background adds depth to her introspective lyrics. Having worked under the direction of distinguished writers and poets during undergrad, Kaitlyn has refined her craft as a lyricist and the art of poetic storytelling. Drawing inspiration from her life as a twenty-five year old navigating relationships and life transitions, her songs delve into themes of nostalgia, heartbreak, and the profound nuances of love.
